Life coaching is about assisting a client to work actively on personal issues that are causing them difficulty in their everyday life. Together they set goals with outcomes, and then work to achieve these. A coach will ask questions, listen, and reflect back what they hear and challenge the client’s thinking. The coach may suggest new ways of conceptualising problems, and in doing so, will help the client consider new ways of seeing the world and achieving their goals.
