Charlotte is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist registered with both the College of Sex and Relationship Therapy (COSRT) and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Charlotte has a degree from Roehampton University in Therapeutic Psychology and alongside private practice works within multiple mental health services including psychiatric units with individuals detained under section 2 and 3 of the mental health act, forensic units with individuals detained under mental health section from the prison service and dementia care where individuals are under a deprivation of liberty safeguards.

Charlotte works pluralistically from a contemporary biopsychosocial framework which incorporates all aspects of self. Charlotte’s goal is to look at a person holistically (as a whole) while tailoring therapy, rejecting the idea of “box fitting” and working collaboratively with her clients to insight confidence and empowerment in their own autonomy.

Charlotte is intent on breaking barriers around the conversation of pleasure and how there is no one right way to participate, enjoy and engage in giving and receiving pleasure. Charlotte believes sexuality to be the essence of self-expression and works towards removing shame and stigma around sex.
