An expert team offering

  a wide range of therapies

Our Team

LCC was established in 2011 with the aim of bringing a high quality, accessible counselling service to local communities in Herts, Beds and North London. We provide therapy for all psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety and bereavement for adultschildren and teenagers. We also have a specialised sex and relationship therapy team who work with concerns with sexual function and behaviour and with the challenges of relationships.

Having started with our Letchworth based service, LCC now also has therapists working in St. Albans, with lower cost therapy options available in both locations.

LCC is founded on strong ethical principles and professional standards. We have brought together a team of highly qualified therapists who all work to LCC’s exacting standards, ensuring that everyone who uses our service is safely and appropriately supported. Every LCC therapist is fully insured, DBS checked, holds professional body membership and undertakes regular supervision and continuous professional development.

LCC’s specialist sex and relationship therapy team have all completed a two year post graduate course in sex and relationship therapy, in addition to their core counselling or nursing training, and have met the stringent criteria set by the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, (COSRT). If you have a sex or relationship concern and private therapy is beyond your budget, LCC can offer you 6 free sessions via our sister company CPS‘s NHS psychosexual psychotherapy contract. Contact your GP for a referral. CPS also offer open-ended Low Cost Psychosexual Therapy starting from £15 per session, and you can self-refer for this service.

LCC’s Director Krystal Woodbridge holds a national position with COSRT, which places her at the cutting edge of decision making in this speciality.

LCC also offers an excellent placement opportunity for clinical trainees in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Psychology.

So, whether you require general counselling, sex and relationship therapy, family, child or teenager therapy, you can be confident that you are putting yourself in the best possible hands, knowing that you will be treated with respect, warmth, compassion and empathy by therapists who are appropriately qualified to help you.

Our Practice Manager, Kathy Freeman, personally and confidentially handles all enquiries to LCC.
